The legendary literary personalities the Jnanapith award Dr UR Anantha Murthy and Dr Girish Karnad came with family members at a well attended premiere show of Dr Girish Kasaravalli latest Kannada film ‘Kurmavathara’ on Wednesday evening at Sulochana auditorium of Vartha Bhavan on Infantry Road.

Produced by Basanth Kumar Patil the film ‘Kurmavathara’ based on the novel of Kum Veerabhadrappa is a very significant and sensitive film in the career of Padmasri Dr Girish Kasaravalli.

The premiere of the film ‘Kurmavathara’ a before the birth anniversary of Vaishali Kasaravalli was even more significant. It was a moment of remembering the highly talented Smt Vaishali Kasaravalli who passed away a few years ago.

Dr Girish Kasaravalli son Apoorva doing the role of a director in the film with near perfection was an admirable issue while Ananya Kasaravalli as costume designer for the film makes it a family pack in ‘Kurmavathara’.
